Nuria Pizarro

I have been with Telefónica since 2002, I started at Fundación Telefónica and in 2009 I began my professional career in the Sustainability area after completing a Master’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Alcalá de Henares. This change was decisive for the development of my professional career.

At a time when sustainability was not so prevalent in organisations, Telefónica was visionary in incorporating what are now known as ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues into the company’s DNA. I am proud to work for a company like Telefónica, which has been committed to sustainability as the backbone of the company, not only as a business strategy, but also because it is a company with values, which knows the essential role it plays in society and the environment.
