Jaime Galán

Public Policy and Institutional Relations Expert within the Institutional Relations team at Telefónica Spain, responsible for defining and driving the company’s institutional agenda while strengthening relationships with public administrations, institutions and key stakeholders. He leads the development of Telefónica Spain’s institutional and reputational positioning, designing strategies, messages and initiatives aligned with the company’s business and strategic objectives, and coordinating their implementation across corporate, regional and commercial areas.

Previously, he was responsible for Digital Advocacy within the Digital Public Policy team, where he led influence and positioning initiatives in the digital policy debate. His responsibilities included managing specialised communication platforms, including the department’s blog, social media channels and newsletter, as well as establishing and leading the Telefónica Policy Lab, a collaborative forum bringing together multidisciplinary experts to develop public policy proposals aimed at fostering a more sustainable, competitive, inclusive and resilient digital future.
