How long have you been at Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I’ve been at Telefónica for two years, and I feel very proud of everything we are building and of the people I’ve met during this time. I have been lucky enough to have had unforgettable experiences in all the areas I have been able to be part of.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly proud or satisfied with?

I am proud to share that I have completed the “Lean Six Sigma” programme and won the Telefonica Brasil Vivo Innovation Belt Certification.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

It can offer technology and digitalisation in a sustainable way. It has contributed to bringing connectivity and digitalisation closer to more people, promoting socio-economic development in Brazil. This makes all the difference!

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

I see Telefónica at the forefront of the continuing technological revolution, offering society cleaner and more ecosystem-friendly energy use systems. In marketing products and services that reach more people and working with a diverse team.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

Yes, but of course I would not be able to interact personally or professionally as I do now. Responsible use of technology is key to making the internet safer and making the most of it.

The logistics without GPS and internet to find a street would be more complex, to get news of a relative in another continent would take a long time, so, technology has helped us to connect with people, to study, to find work, to entertain ourselves in diverse and fast ways, but we must be aware of how we make use of it.

Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

I love Spanish cuisine, and with a Brazilian palate of course, for me, always with onion.

What crazy idea would you like Telefónica to do for its centenary?

Make a human rope with all Telefónica employees and hug the building where we work as a team. We would arrive at the finish line tired, but happy to finish together.

I nominate Daniel Klassen, Luis de Oliveira and Willian Andre.

In #Thespanishomelettething tag section we interview Telefónica’s employees on a variety of topics, while trying to solve one of humanity’s greatest dilemmas.
