Lucía Monforte

Lucía Monforte is a senior environmental specialist, with over 15 years of experience in environmental sustainability. She has worked on issues related to environmental management systems, environmental legislation, environmental training, environmental and sustainability reporting and calculation of the organisation’s carbon footprint and has participated in external environmental and sustainability working groups.

She currently works in the Global Sustainability Office (ESG) of Telefónica, helping to define corporate environmental strategies, such as the Climate Action Plan, the carbon offsetting plan, the biodiversity strategy or the definition of an internal carbon price; she also participates in the ESG reporting of Telefónica and in the responses to investors and analysts.

She holds a degree in agricultural engineering and her educational background includes a Master´s degree in Business Environmental Management and a Diploma in Sustainable Transformation.

Jorge García Salgado

International Business graduate. Jorge is part of the Investment team at Telefónica Ventures, where he analyzes and execute Investment opportunities in startups and scaleups building the future of a great variety of sectors, industries and, why not, societies. In addition, Jorge manages a portfolio of +10 VC funds in which Telefónica is a Strategic Limited Partner (LP).

Ana Valero Huete

Ana has more than 25 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector, focusing most of her career in Latin America. Since March 2021 she is the Director of Public Policy for Telefónica Hispanoamérica, the branch of Telefónica that groups the operations in Latin America with the exception of Brazil. In this position, she defines and coordinates the regulatory and public policy positioning and the public affairs teams for the seven operations of the Telefónica Hispanoamérica Group.

She has held senior positions in the Telefónica Group in areas related to pricing, marketing, customer experience, public affairs and regulation in Europe and Latin America.

She represents Telefónica in different industry associations. She is President of the Board of ASIET (Inter-American Association of Telecommunications Companies), member of the GSMA LA Policy Group and, since January 2018, is member of the Board of 5G Americas.

She holds degrees in Economics and History and an EMBA from IESE Business School.

María José Lanuza

Professional with more than 20 years of experience mainly in the areas of Company Strategy, International and Institutional Relations as well as in cabinet work and organization of events of the highest level in the field of multinational companies.

I am currently Global Institutional Relations Manager at Telefónica S.A. Responsible for the development and implementation of the institutional relations strategy for the Telefónica Group, which ensures the correct alignment of the company’s public positioning with the strategic and business objectives in all regions.

I manage the relationship and alliances with different stakeholders (public bodies, companies and private institutions, international and multilateral organizations, diplomatic corps, foundations, media, academic institutions, etc.) enhancing the visibility of the company, defending its interests before the administration and promoting a brand image and interaction with the different social, political and economic groups in its environment.

I organize meetings and agendas of the highest political and business level: Visits of foreign Heads of State, Business Events, with central and regional government, organization of seminars and workshops, management of presence in national and international forums, speaker before interest groups.

I have managed far-reaching strategic transversal projects in Telefónica such as company transformation projects and adaptation of the company group to the euro. Great capacity and experience in coordination of large-scale projects and in changing environments.

I have a strategic and international vocation, with a business orientation and with the capacity for institutional representation and the construction of relationships and alliances for the development and coordination of projects. With the ability to provide strategic and institutional advice in different areas of business activity.

Degree in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza and specialized in International Finance from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Postgraduate in Business Administration from the IPAG Business School in France. Advanced level of English and French and basic level of Russian.

Carlo Manuel Drauth

Carlo Manuel Drauth is, amongst other things, responsible for Telefónica´s global corporate sustainability due diligence process.

Previously, he worked on sustainability issues in the German government as well as in econsense – the Forum for Sustainable Development of German Business. He studied economic and social sciences at the Maastricht University (Netherlands) and Science-Po (France).

He holds a PhD from the Hertie School of Governance (Germany).

Idoya Arteagabeitia González

Idoya Arteagabeitia González is currently Director of Corporate Regulation at Telefonica S.A. assuming this role in October 2021.

She has joined Telefonica from Law Firm Pinsent Masons where she was a partner at its Madrid Office leading the Finance, Fintech and Banking Area.

Before joining Telefonica, Idoya served in the Spanish Government Legal Service in several posts: National High Court of Spain; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID). For several years, she also directed the Legal Department and was the secretary of the Board of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), the Spanish public bank, and its affiliates AxisPart, a Capital Risk Funds Management company and ICO Foundation.

Idoya has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director (NED) of the Sociedad de Gestión de Activos Procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria (Sareb), of the Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo (COFIDES) and of Mercedes Benz Financial Services, EFC.

She holds a law degree from University of Salamanca, spending one year of studies at Rijkuniversitat at Maastricht (The Netherlands) and holding a post degree in European and Community Law. She was admitted to the Spanish Government Legal Services as State Attorney in 2002.

Carmen Morenés

A graduate in Economic Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a European Financial Analyst from the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts. She spent the first years of her career in the financial sector and asset management. She subsequently redirected her career towards the management of social projects by collaborating with Manos Unidas.

In January 2015 she joined Telefónica Foundation as part of the Volunteers Programme and she took on the strategic global coordination of the programme a year later. In 2019 she was appointed managing director of Telefónica Foundation with the aim of continuing to enhance opportunities for people by promoting inclusive and social projects related to education, employability, knowledge dissemination and volunteer work that are suited to the challenges of the digital world.

Enrique Blanco Nadales

Enrique Blanco was until 2025 Global CTIO at Telefónica since 2017, Global CTO since 2011 and member of the company’s Executive Committee since November 2019. Always linked to technology and operations he has held several positions as Director of Network Operations and Engineering at Telefónica.

Enrique holds a Physics degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master PDG from IESE.

Rafael Amorós González

I am the youngest son of Pedro and Frasqui, I adore them both and Martin’s father. Telecommunications Engineer with high knowledge in disruptive technologies such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, Bidgdata, IoT and networks.

I have complemented my education with an MBA from IE Business School, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate from Stanford University, Venture Capital Executive Program from ISBIF.

Consolidated experience in business development: Scaling startups from 0 to 100. Additionally, I have assumed End2end of key projects for Telefonica Group. Constant participation in innovation projects as a jury member and disseminator in different programs such as GCHQ, star4big, South Summit, MWC, etc.

Currently I lead strategic investments from the area of Telefónica Ventures (Telefónica Corporate Venture Capital ) + 5 years in contact with startups and the whole field of entrepreneurship.

I understand innovation as the only tool to achieve digital transformation and change for new opportunities in the market.

I am closely linked to the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a Startup Mentor, blogger on innovation in Think Empresas and Business Angel.

Catherine Bohill

Catherine leads the ESG Development and Impact team at Telefónica. Her remit includes Responsible business, Diversity & Inclusion and Stakeholder Engagement. Her priority is to attract ESG oriented capital – understanding investor demands, stretching commitments and raising awareness of Telefónica’s credentials.
Catherine has worked for Telefónica for over 20 years.

Pablo de Carvajal

Pablo de Carvajal holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

He worked as Legal Advisor to “La Unión y el Fénix Español, Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros, SA” (1988-1989).

In April 1991 he was appointed State Lawyer until December 1999, when he became head of the Legal Department of Jazz Telecom, SA.

In March 2000 he was appointed Secretary of the Board and Head of the Legal Department of YACOM INTERNET FACTORY, SA.

Since 1 June 2001 he has been General Secretary and Secretary of the Board of Telefónica de España and since April 2013 he has also been Director of Operators and Regulation.

In 2018 he was appointed Secretary General and Director of Public Affairs and Regulation of the Telefónica Group.

In 2019 the area he heads will be renamed General Secretary and Secretary of the Board, Global Directorate of Regulation.

Chema Alonso

Chema Alonso was a member of the Executive Committee of Telefónica S.A. from 2016 to 2025, holding the position of Chief Digital Officer. In this role he led Innovation, Data, Platforms and Digital Products and Services.

Francisco José Cano Hila

Telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in the fields of content delivery networks and mobile communications. Nowadays, working in the Telefónica Content Delivery Network (TCDN).

Graciela Ares

Diploma in emotional behaviour management from the Faculty of Psychology at the National University of Cordoba.

With studies in assertive and emotional communication, self-knowledge, at the Fundación Educación Emocional Argentina.

Current student of Neurosciences to understand human behaviour at the University of Buenos Aires. Writer on topics related to psychological aptitudinal tools, transformational leadership, advances in technology and its relationship with human wellbeing. Non-verbal and emotional communication of our body, identifying how our body expresses itself when we are silent.

I have worked at Movistar since 1996. I am currently Assistant Manager of Billing and Collections in the Transversal Processes Department. Previously, I was part of the Argentinean Finance Department, in the Works and Real Estate Maintenance Department, where we managed all building maintenance requests and internal employee demands.

Each order is evaluated and carried out through the contracted suppliers, and its follow-up for each discipline or casuistry that is necessary for its resolution, both around maintenance and cleaning, thus maintaining our common workspaces, an optimal way, providing care and well-being, for those who use our spaces and offices, in the corporate buildings of the Argentine territory.

I am grateful and have the enormous honor of being part of being an Author in some articles in the Press Room of the Communication area provided by the Telefónica website.

Renata Dutra-Borges de Almeida

With more than 15 years of experience in Public & Foreign Affairs functions, she has organised and leaded corporate diplomacy projects, strategic alliances and public presence in international contexts. Currently, Renata is particularly dedicated to the Brazil unit of Telefónica’s Corporate Affairs and Sustainability department, where she is an advisor to the Presidency of the Brazil-Spain Chamber of Commerce (CCBE).

Sofía García-Carretero

Expert in sustainability and climate change with 10 years of experience. She is currently working implementing ESG criteria in the Telefónica supply chain.

Natalia Moreno Rigollot

Responsible, among other actions, for corporate diplomacy, institutional alliances and partnerships and institutional public presence, from the area of Public Affairs and Sustainability of the Telefónica Group.

Oliver Füg

Oliver advises on matters regarding digital infrastructure and its regulation at European level in Telefónica’s Brussels Office.

Rosana Fiérrez del Campo

Degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master in Technologies applied to training by the ViU. Since 2010 he has developed his career at Telefónica linked to corporate training consultancy at Telefónica Educación Digital. Since 2022, he has been working in the Global B2B Commercial Acceleration area linked to the B2B Sales Academy project, a training platform for Telefónica’s sales force worldwide.
