Madrid, September 29th, 2015. – Under the framework of the Telecentre Europe’s Annual Conference 2015 (TEAC15), Telefónica together with Telecentre Europe, European Schoolnet and the University of Dortmund have launched the online Platform of the I-LINC Project with the main objective of establishing a sustainable, overarching platform for ICT (for) learning and inclusion focused on boosting the young employability around Europe.

The platform is a Support Action (CSA) funded by the European Commission under the H2020 Programme. This project was unveiled today in Belgrade by Laurentiu Bonescu, Telecentre-Europe Manager and I-LINC Project Coordinator, in an event attended by the other three partners of the project.

The creation of this online platform will lead to link existing communities and activities in the field of ICT (for) learning and inclusion and interconnect them in order to improve and increase the impact of them.

I-LINC will be the meeting point for stakeholders to foster positive debates and the platform to design socio-educational e-solutions and promote policy options aimed to modernise education through ICT, provide inclusive alternatives to formal education brought from the non-formal education sector and the Third sector to create a new “digital” path of social innovation for the employment of young people.

The platform will be a common online space for open dialogue and virtual meetings, contributing to the improvement of the existing platforms and projects by fostering mutual exchanges and peer-learning activities among the actors and stakeholders involved in the youth employability in Europe.
