Joaquina Salado Moraleda

Head of AI Ethics at Telefónica

Joaquina Salado is Head of AI Ethics in Telefónica. She is currently responsible for the implementation of the ethical Artificial Intelligence strategy, to ensure the responsible use of AI in the business units that employ it. Joaquina has more than 20 years of experience in the Telco sector, working in strategy and data analytics in different business areas, marketing, market research, business intelligence.

At Telefónica, she has led Data and Artificial Intelligence projects, from Big Data and Real Time Decisioning to the implementation of the Data Culture transformation program across the Telefónica footprint.

Additionally, and among others, he collaborates with the “AI for Impact” working group of GSMA and with Unesco through the Business Council for Iberoamerica to promote ethical recommendations on Artificial Intelligence.
