Francisco José Ramírez Vicente (“Fran Ramírez”) is a researcher in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence at Telefónica, where he focuses on the intersection between security, AI and the detection of emerging threats.
With over 15 years’ experience as a systems administrator, he has participated in international projects in the UK, the US and Canada. He has spoken at leading national and international events, including RootedCON, Mobile World Congress, CyberCamp, CCN-CERT, NoHat, BlackHat Europe Arsenal and DEFCON Village, amongst others.
Fran holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering, a Master’s in ICT Security and a Master’s in Data Science and AI. When he is not researching how to anticipate the next digital threats, he enjoys his other great passions: science fiction, the history of computing, technology outreach and his collection of vintage computers.
