Electromagnetic Fields: What the experts say
The Scientific Council on Electromagnetic Fields from Sweden (SSM) / May 2018
The twelfth report concludes that “no new health risks have been identified”. The results of studies of cell phones and brain cancer are “not entirely consistent but mainly point towards a lack of association”.
The French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) / March 2018
The report concludes that there is no “causal link” between EHS and EMF exposure, however, the symptoms are real and more research is needed. ANSES also recommends that health authorities consider better training for health professionals and treatment recommendations.
Safety of 5G Mobile Networks
The radio signals used by mobile technologies have been widely studied for decades. The scientific evidence is the basis for international safety guidelines for radio signals.
These guidelines (ICNIRP limits) include all frequencies considered for 5G. Telefónica complies with these internationally recognized limits in all the markets in which it operates.
The consistent conclusion of public health agencies and expert groups is that compliance with international limits protects all persons (including children) against all possible established health risks.
