José Antonio Moreno

After 4 years in a small advertising agency, I joined Telefónica in January 1993. I then worked in the Publications department, under the Internal Communications area, where I designed, laid out and supervised the printing of all kinds of publications (employee magazines and newspapers, telephone directory covers, results reports, brochures and much more). The department went out of business and HR moved me to Operations for a year, in the Outside Plant Department, drafting performance warning letters.

From there I moved to Purchasing, after winning a call for experts, but after barely a month, it was not what I had imagined, so I requested a change of attachment to Advertising with the corresponding resignation. I went back to my natural environment and, although I wasn’t a full-time designer, I got involved in campaigns, interacting with agencies that worked for us, especially for the online medium.

This also served to establish a close relationship with Canal Online and made it easier for me to apply for an expert position as a designer years later, which I won. And I’ve been happy ever since.

Warren Bowers

Responsible for the cross team co-ordination and business support of the Open Gateway Go to Market team, where we define and execute the commercial strategy to promote the Open Gateway initiative, with other telcos and externally to partners, customers and other stakeholders.

Benjamín García Benet

I work at Telefónica as Strategic & UX Lead, responsible for leading the different design disciplines in the Metaverse and Web3 area, as well as facilitating people-centred design methodologies that allow the user’s voice to be introduced in all phases of the development of a service product.

María Domínguez Álvarez

I joined Telefónica in September 2010, almost 14 years now! From the first moment dedicated to projects to deploy and protect technological infrastructures, because Telefónica is not only about communications, but we are also a great partner to develop IT projects.

Ana Isabel Ruíz Andújar

I have been with the company for almost 23 years. The truth is that time has passed very quickly. Sometimes I still see myself as the young intern who has everything to learn, surprising myself and admiring as a child everything that happens around us in this great company. I haven’t stopped learning for a single day and I think that’s what makes me get up every morning with the same enthusiasm and excitement as the first day.

Thanks to Telefónica I have evolved and developed as a professional but also as a person, we have transformed together, but above all I have met and continue to meet incredible people who, with their work, generosity and tenacity, contribute to Telefónica fulfilling its purpose that unites all employees and sets us apart from other companies: “to make our world more human by connecting people’s lives”.

Andrea Prado

I have been with the company for 24 years, I value the care for people, the opportunities, the benefits and above all its reputation as a company, to have the group of colleagues that I have, it is like a big family, very pleasant to share these spaces with them, it is a pride for me to belong here!

Andrés Gimeno

I am Andrés Gimeno Marzán, although my 2 daughters usually call me daddy or daddy, a trick to get everything. I am a teacher by training. Telefónica has led me to sail the seas of Key Accounts, CRM Technology and currently in the Head of Transformation, Usability and Channel Support. Crazy about training as a source of “renewable” energy, Telefónica Volunteer, enjoyer, volleyball coach and whatever life brings me. I follow the maxim regret doing things and never regret not doing them, as Groucho Marx said, “I intend to live forever, or die trying”.

Carlos Fraile

It has now been 35 years of travelling through different areas of the company, acquiring knowledge of many different kinds, always finding colleagues of the most experienced and experienced in the field.

David Cucurull

I started working in Telefónica in 1997 as a CAC operator and three years later I moved to the commercial area in the distribution channel (Movistar Stores). After 10 years I was appointed manager of SMEs, to take Small Business, evolving a few years later to MEDIUM-SIZE COMPANY where I am at the moment.

Juan Palacios

Although it seems like only yesterday that I joined the Central Territory Business team as a Talentum intern… I’ve been with Telefónica for a decade now, and I can only say that it has been a very enriching experience that has made me grow as a professional, I would repeat it for sure! My job is to lead the strategy, defining, developing and executing the strategic initiatives of the SME Management.

Sabrina González

I started my career at Atento S.A., a company that at that time belonged to the Telefónica group, in 2008, in the internal customer service centre, in charge of resolving general service incidents. Over time, I took on greater responsibilities and by the end of that same year, I became a team supervisor for Atento S. A. In 2010, I became a permanent employee of Telefónica de Argentina, working as Facility Manager and managing contracts with maintenance, cleaning and locksmith suppliers, among others.

Along the way, I got married, had three daughters and resumed my university studies. Currently, I am very close to graduating as a Certified Public Accountant and Bachelor in Business Administration, with only a few subjects pending.

About a year and a half ago, I decided to make a career change and took on the role of Change Management Facilitator. This transition has allowed me to explore a new, more collaborative way of working, always focused on continuous improvement. Now I have the opportunity to accompany teams that are in a process of change, so that they can reach their full potential.

Iván del Pozo

I work as Head of Sales at Telefónica Empresas. I have spent 10 intense years full of happiness in the company, or in other words, I share a tenth of Telefónica’s existence, which is a source of pride.

Patxi Barrios Aguilar

Passionate about the Web3 ecosystem, I specialise in merging technological innovation with business strategies to develop products that make a difference.

My background in computer engineering has been the pillar on which I have built my career, having co-founded companies in the blockchain sector and held leadership positions in other digital sectors.

This combination of entrepreneurship and leadership has allowed me to not only apply my technical knowledge, but also to gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of the digital marketplace. I lead with optimism, focusing on how technology can improve our lives and contribute to a more connected digital future.

My focus is always on innovation and problem solving, constantly seeking the perfect fit between product and market to ensure success and sustainable growth.

Nuria Leal Colominas

I am involved in monitoring and participating in various Optima projects. Specialised in O+M process (Technical Assistance). I have been with Optima for 23 years. The times I have been able to enjoy with many colleagues have been short. With them I have learnt to be the best version of myself.

Joaquín Rivera

I have a life purpose to improve the lives of the people I live with, which I pursue both professionally and privately. I do this by focusing on leadership development; leading myself and others, and developing leaders through facilitation and coaching. I am a very versatile person, a fast learner and a committed leader. In addition, I am a loving husband and father, and a trustworthy friend… at least, that’s what I’ve been told.

I joined Telefónica in January 1994, and I am happy and proud to still be here after 30 years, to be able to celebrate our Centenary. What clearer assessment can I make than “once a Telefónica, always a Telefónica”?

I have spent my entire professional career at Telefónica: 13 different positions, including operations, network deployment and customer projects, pre-sales and specialised sales, satellite business management, purchasing… even “supporting faculty” at Universitas. Some would say I’m a restless ass, I prefer to see it as a path of constant search for knowledge and personal growth.

But the professional side is not even half of what I have experienced in these 30 years. At Telefónica I got married, although we were sweethearts before we both joined La Casa. At Telefónica I have been a father three times. With Telefónica I have become an immigrant, and with time I have put down roots in a new land, with a better future for our daughters. At Telefónica I have learned telecommunications, finance, leadership, to be a coach, to negotiate, to think critically, to put value before any other metric …. and above all, I have begun to discover who I am.

Telefónica is my life, and I am thankful that I have had a happy life.

David Rodríguez Campos

I’ve been with the company for 10 years now, and the truth is that the assessment is obviously positive, I’ve gone through several areas, and as it cannot be otherwise in life, some ups and downs, but I’ve always been lucky to be surrounded by incredible people and professionals from whom I learn every day.

In addition, in my last two positions I have been very close to communication and branding, and that has given me the opportunity to understand the company from a very close point of view.

Antonio Herranz

I am Antonio Herranz Sotoca, Business Services Consultant and trainer.

A fan of people who has been dancing through life since my birth in Badalona in 1968, right next to the Mediterraneo. Imagine a playlist that starts with the soundtrack of my childhood, with “High Voltage” style shorts, playing basketball, “Supersonic” rhythm, all while the laughter resounded with “Song2”.

As one of the JASPs who are now Boomers, my professional journey has been an ever-evolving constantly evolving, and Telefonica with its “CompuTer world” has been the backdrop for my transformation. From “never let me down” moments to “ruby, ruby” episodes, I have closed copy paper closed contracts with copy paper, carried a ladder on my shoulder to repair breakdowns, sold the first brick-mobiles, promoted projects such as Som-Hi, Pegasus. So every day is a mix of challenges and teardrops.

And just when I thought I had enough, training came along. At Telefonica, training is more than an more than an adventure, it’s a challenge to the rhythm of “Natural blues”. I have navigated changes in management tools, adaptation to agile methodologies, the creation of new verticals and the revolution in digital customer service channels. In addition, I have had the privilege of participating in projects such as Serfortel, the 50 days of Neurolearning, and its evolution in the Covid environment, a whirlwind of innovation!

In the midst of all this, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya arrived, “Who cares”, where I continue to help young professionals. I continue to help young professionals. Always gamifying, always looking for tangible results tangible results to the rhythm of “Lemon”, and remembering that, in organisations, the key is not machines or processes,
but people. So let’s dance.

Vanesa Montoya

I started in the last century, in the customer service department of Moviline. I worked in several areas of customer service and resolution of incidents and complaints, including the unit of complaints to Official Bodies and Presidency. Now you can find me in the area of Marketing PYMES, in training and transformation projects for the commercial network.

I am an internal teacher and I occasionally give training courses and I love it. I think Telefónica has given me the opportunity to grow and develop as a professional, to carry out different functions that have allowed me to acquire new skills, which has led to professional and personal growth and enrichment. I would also highlight the commitment, companionship and professionalism that I have found in so many of my colleagues.
