The G20 Leaders’ Summit in 2014 will be held on 15 and 16 November in Brisbane, Australia. This event, which is the most important event in the G20 year, provides a valuable opportunity for leaders to discuss a wide range of global economic issues and to use their collective power to improve people’s lives.
In addition, the B20, which has developed in 2014 20 mutually reinforcing recommendations for G20 government action to drive global economic growth and create jobs, will present their final recommendations to the G20 Leaders’ Summit.
Telefónica contributes to the B20 Forum since 2010, when it was invited to participate in the first G20 Business Summit hosted by South Korea. Telefónica joined a group of 120 world leading business executives and the G20 heads of state to discuss the recovery efforts, see what lies ahead and share thoughts on what must be done in order to ensure strong, sustainable and balanced growth.
The video below outlines the role of the G20 and B20 and summarises the work of the B20 during Australia’s host year.
