Laura Giménez Rodrigo

Laura is a senior lawyer at Telefónica, S.A. specializing in competition law. She is part of the Competition Law, Regulatory and Public Policy Team.

She obtained a degree in Law from the “Universidad Carlos III de Madrid” in 2008. She focused her early career in the foreign trade sector. After various international experiences in this domain, her enthusiasm for the European Union, the business world and travelling led her to become a specialist in Competition Law. Thanks to a traineeship from the European Commission at the Directorate General for Competition (DG COMP), she enriched her understanding of the European-level dynamics in this field. Before joining Telefónica in 2019, she worked in top national and international law firms, both in Brussels and Madrid. Alongside her extensive legal expertise in competition law, Laura actively engages in public policy topics, contributing to Telefónica’s competitive stance across various institutions.
