Laura Giménez Rodrigo
Senior lawyer in competition law at Telefónica S.A
Laura is a senior lawyer with expertise in Competition Law at Telefónica, S.A. She is a member of the Competition, Regulatory and Public Policy Unit.
Her work focuses on antitrust regulations and merger control across multiple jurisdictions, including assessing complex transactions, overseeing compliance with EU and national competition rules and driving key projects aimed at preventing and managing competition risks. She also contributes to public policy initiatives, helping define Telefónica’s institutional positioning before European bodies and other relevant institutions.
Before joining Telefónica in 2019, she gained experience at leading national and international law firms in Brussels and Madrid and at the European Commission. She is a qualified lawyer with a Law degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. After several international experiences in Latin America and Europe, she completed a specialized Master’s degree in Competition Law.
