How we buy?

All Telefónica Group companies make their purchases in accordance with a common Management model, which is characterized by the globalisation of purchases, the professionalization of the job (we have professional buyers, specialists in the product), transparency in the process and equal opportunities to all suppliers.

At present, more than 130 Telefónica Group Companies use this model, called the Telefónica Purchase Model (TPM).

Procurement management is performed in nine Purchasing Boards located in Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Lima, Caracas, Bogota and Mexico City, which allow global or local purchase management depending on requirements at a given time.
