How long have you been at Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

Well, although it seems like only yesterday that I joined the Central Territory Business team as a Talentum intern… I’ve been with Telefónica for a decade now, and I can only say that it has been a very enriching experience that has made me grow as a professional, I would definitely repeat it!

Is there any project at Telefónica that you feel particularly satisfied with or proud of?

During this time I have had the opportunity to collaborate on several interesting projects, in which the team has been key, but certainly for impact and current affairs we are helping Spanish SMEs to benefit from the Next Generation Funds and their programmes such as KIT DIGITAL, with a service proposal designed by and for SMEs and support and advice throughout the digitisation process that will boost the competitiveness of the business fabric of our country.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

Our company’s commitment to society is unquestionable, making communications and technology accessible to any group, enabling endless possibilities for development in areas such as the economy, education, justice, the environment… I believe it is a key contribution to any society.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

Being a benchmark like Telefónica implies a continuous transformation in which you have to be able to adapt to an ever-changing, more digital environment… I believe that this dynamic environment must be seen as an opportunity, positioning yourself as a great benchmark because there is a lot of talent in our company and we have a strategy to build an exciting future… We are about to turn 100 years old and we are going for more!

Could you live without a mobile phone?

I think this is already unthinkable… how can you live without being connected to your loved ones?

Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

With onion, of course, and of course my mother’s omelette. In the kitchen, the secret of success is the same as in any other field… the care with which things are done.

What crazy idea would you like Telefónica to come up with for its centenary?

We have a lot of future ahead of us, and to prove it I would think of a raffle giving away our connectivity for the next 100 years, the company’s controllers would go crazy, but I see it as a declaration of intent, let’s keep going!
