From today, O2 will offer its ‘Solo Fibra’ and convergent customers without a TV subscription the option to subscribe to the Movistar Plus OTT service for €6 per month, instead of the usual €9.99 per month, as an additional package.
This means that O2 users who choose this option will be able to enjoy a comprehensive catalogue of over 80 channels, including films, series, programmes and documentaries, all Movistar Plus originals and the best international productions; as well as sports content such as the Movistar Plus LALIGA EA SPORTS match; all LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches; the top match from each round of the Champions League and the Premier League; and major events in tennis, the Euroleague, padel, golf, rugby and athletics.
Furthermore, from 20 August, O2 will extend its programme offering devices with benefits to more tariff plans. This means that customers on tariffs starting from €40 per month will be able to access a selection of devices from €0, with free delivery, no minimum contract period and a 4-year warranty. Among the devices they will be able to add to their tariff from €0 is the Samsung Galaxy A17, the first 5G handset that O2 is offering for €0.
Mariano Domecq, director of O2, emphasises: “With these new developments, we aim to advance our clear goal of being the best gateway to digital technologies and to reinforce our commitment to our customers by offering them a range of additional benefits in recognition of their trust.”
