Laura Aguirre

Practically my entire career at Telefónica has been linked in some way to technical team leadership and service development. I have been with the group for almost 14 years now, and I couldn’t be prouder to belong to this great family. I am currently responsible for the Collaboration Services Technology Area at Future Workplace at Telefónica Tech.

We work with different collaborative environment technologies from the leading vendors on the market, such as Microsoft, Cisco and Zoom, among others, and we are responsible for launching new products and services that add value for our customers and, of course, ensuring their technological evolution.

Maite Marrupe

I’m Maite Marrupe, an engineer by training and part of the Telefónica team for almost 25 years. Throughout this time, I’ve had the opportunity to lead projects in technical and management areas, always with a common denominator: driving transformation. From network planning to key account management, I have supported teams through cultural and operational change processes. I currently head up the Business After-Sales department for large regional accounts and SMEs. I have a dual responsibility: ensuring operational excellence on a day-to-day basis and leading the evolution of the customer service model, with a medium- and long-term vision that enables us to anticipate our customers’ needs.

Carlos Espacios

Since joining Telefónica, I have been involved in transformative projects to create efficiencies, improve workflows, add value for our customers and provide more agile environments for our colleagues. During my seven years at Telefónica Spain, I have worked in Operations, in Business After-Sales. From improvements to processes such as Change Management and Critical Business Incident Management, to being responsible for the Datainternet Service, my focus has always been on the value we offer our customers, ensuring the continuity of their business through our stable and efficient services. I currently lead different lines of work for the functional and business design of a new ticketing platform to optimise E2E incident management in Business Operations, within the CEM Valora project. This is a key transformation project to modernise our flows, facilitate day-to-day work, resulting in better service for our customers, working without silos, with an end-to-end quality vision.

David Osado

I have been with Telefónica for 25 years and my professional career has taken me through different areas of the company. I am currently responsible for Systems and BI at Fiberpass, the newly created FiberCo between Telefónica and Vodafone for the monetisation of fibre optic assets.

Once the fibre optic network has been rolled out, it is necessary to maximise network occupancy to increase revenue and profitability. In my position, I ensure that the company’s systems are running smoothly and in line with business needs. In particular, we have SAP S4 HANA ERP and BI, where all the data necessary for operations is stored.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing environment, companies in our sector must leverage quick, data-driven decision-making. BI is therefore the ‘brain’ of the company, which must be fed with sufficient, reliable data and updated as often as necessary so that the business can act with agility and responsibility.

Chimo Villena

I’m Chimo, a proud father of three daughters, educational psychologist, coach and expert in digital education. I facilitate workshops and lectures to bring teams together, reconnect people and facilitate change.

I am the author of the book ‘Familias Lideres Digitales’ (Digital Leader Families) and the MOOC #InteligenciaDigital (Digital Intelligence) for Telefónica Educación Digital and Profuturo.

I am the creator of educational transformation and innovation projects for Telefónica, such as #ProfesBemore, #SerForTel, #LiderCoach and #ModoEntrenamiento, which combine pedagogical training with digital skills and coaching.

My latest adventure: creating and promoting #LideresDigitales, an innovative training project where we bring online and face-to-face training to the entire educational community on the proper use of technology, in collaboration with the Telefónica Foundation.

I have received several awards and distinctions for my work as a TeacherCoach, including Telefónica de España Blended’s best internal teacher, the Deliver award for transformation at Telefónica, the Foro Europa gold medal for professional excellence and Telefónica’s first national ‘Gente de Valor’ award. Some say that I am good at ‘building trust’, ‘creating new paths’ and ‘unblocking problems’. I like people, helping them to grow and show their best side. I believe that together we can build a better world. Will you join me?

Noemí de Miguel

I am a sports journalist and one of the faces of Movistar Plus+. Every Monday, you can see me hosting El Día Después, the longest-running programme on television, which offers a very different take on La Liga matches. I am particularly happy to be part of its relaunch and to see how the stories that the editors capture and that we promote contribute to the bond between players, coaches, clubs and fans. I also present La Previa for Champions League matches from the pitch, trying to bring what is happening closer to viewers and make them feel like their sofas are almost another seat in the stadium. In addition, I am the leader of the Sports Agitation Table in this two-way initiative, which has a lot to do with business and knowledge of the new audience.

Micaela Martelli

I am Director of Sector Solutions and Energy at Telefónica. Born in Argentina, I have been living in Spain for 20 years, half of which I spent working in strategic consulting at BCG and the other half as an executive at AstraZeneca. I joined Telefónica in 2022 and today my job is to lead innovative projects that integrate advanced technology to improve efficiency and sustainability in the Energy, Industry, and Health and Social sectors.

Although better known as a telecommunications operator, Telefónica is also one of Spain’s largest technology providers. Our evolution stems from the trend towards convergence between the worlds of communications and technology. Building on our position in connectivity, we have been putting technology at the service of society for many years, helping to digitise different services and industrial sectors.

Something similar is happening in industry, where the IT and OT worlds are beginning to merge. In this context, the multidisciplinary teams I coordinate provide our customers with comprehensive technology solutions tailored to the specific challenges of each sector.

Based on our CORE products, such as connectivity, IoT, Big Data and Cybersecurity, we develop and implement value propositions that address the business needs of each sector. This enables us to provide end-to-end solutions from a single company, allowing our customers to optimise their processes and digital transformation.

Our goal is to become leading integrators in our focus sectors. To achieve this, I have a team of true experts who speak the same business language as our customers, enabling them to understand their challenges and address them with the best technological solution. Another aspect that I consider to be a differentiating factor is the incorporation of user experience (UX) and innovation when defining and designing our value propositions, which is key to making an effective and real impact. Finally, when it is necessary to implement solutions with partners, we only work with the best, as evidenced by our recent agreement with Siemens to promote industrial digitalisation.

Noel Calderón

Since I started working for Telefonica Tech in 2019, first as an external contractor and then as an employee since late 2022, I have had the opportunity to work with different clients, projects and environments related to cybersecurity.

I am currently working in a small technical office with four people dedicated to a client whose main objective is to protect information systems, networks, devices and data from cyber threats, attacks and vulnerabilities.

To achieve this goal, we rely on a series of specific tools and technologies such as antivirus software, firewalls, VPNs, Active Directories, Group Policies, email managers, cloud tools, CCN tools, etc.

We carry out a series of tasks such as analysing alerts and dealing with incidents, managing access, and administering and managing all the technologies and tools at our disposal. We then carry out another series of more specific tasks or projects such as migrations, updates, or customer requests related to security.

In this case, in the OT, as there are only a few of us, we all have to be versatile and know how to perform all the tasks mentioned above, although each of us is specialised in a particular technology or product.

In my specific case, as I belong to the Cloud Security vertical, my work focuses on administering and managing cloud security, which in the case of this customer is contracted to MICROSOFT. This includes managing email protection (EXCHANGE), computer antivirus (DEFENDER), information compliance (PURVIEW), cloud application security and active directory security in the cloud, among other things.

Ednaldo Heleno Da Silva

I am Ednaldo Silva, a cloud computer engineer with solid experience in digital transformation, currently working at Vivo (Telefónica Brazil). Throughout my career, I have evolved from operational roles to a strategic role in the adoption and management of cloud technologies.

I am an expert in the creation, migration, and maintenance of cloud services, with advanced knowledge of multiple providers, including Microsoft Azure, Huawei Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). I have led key migration projects using Oracle Cloud VMware Solution, ensuring efficient and seamless transitions.

I am a virtualisation specialist with VMware and Citrix, focused on resource optimisation, scalability and high availability. These skills have been essential in aligning the technology infrastructure with the requirements of the modern corporate environment.

My experience gives me a deep understanding of business needs, which strengthens my ability to lead innovative initiatives that drive operational efficiency and the strategic value of technology.

Philippe Gröschel

Philippe Gröschel is leading Telefónica’s Government Relations Department in Germany and the company’s representative office in Berlin. Together with his team he ensures Telefónicas active participation in policy debates in Germany and is responsible for the companies public policy and event platform BASECAMP.

Luisa Fernanda Ocampo

My story at Telefónica Movistar began in 2019, when I joined Movistar Colombia as a Scrum Master. During that time, I supported teams in their agile adoption and maturity, optimising processes, implementing Scrum and ensuring that deliveries were aligned with business objectives.

In 2020, I had the opportunity to join the HispAm operation, which allowed me to broaden my vision at the regional level. For approximately one year, I supported the implementation of agile metrics, alignment strategies, and monitoring models in countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

This experience allowed me to understand how to adapt agile models and metrics to different organisational contexts, taking into account their level of maturity, business priorities, and operational reality. One of the key focuses during this period was the definition of agile maturity models for the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner, which we developed together with colleagues from each region.

This line of work allowed us to establish clear growth paths for these roles, incorporating dimensions such as strategic thinking, value delivery, facilitation, and adaptive leadership, among others.

During my time at Hispam, I also had the opportunity to participate in the Radical Evolution project, a challenging and transformative initiative in which I accompanied two strategic business teams. One of them was focused on digital marketing and value generation, and the other on digital channel processes, where I contributed through facilitation, agility, and continuous delivery.

My role as Scrum Master was key to empowering the teams, facilitating their evolution, and creating safe spaces where collaboration and continuous improvement became the norm. In addition, in this context, I laid important foundations for the implementation of agile metrics connected to the business strategy.

It was a real-world laboratory where we were able to validate how agile practices, when focused correctly, generate tangible results for both the client and the organisation. This project consolidated my conviction that agility is a powerful lever for accelerating the digital and cultural transformation of the company.

In 2025, I returned to Movistar Colombia to take on the role of Agility Enabler Specialist, with a renewed focus aligned with the country’s strategic objectives. Today, my work focuses on generating value not only through the implementation of agile practices, but also by integrating innovation, digitalisation and emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), always ensuring that every action is aligned with the strategic plan and, above all, that it translates into a tangible impact for the business and our customers.

I work in the Cyber Products and Services area at Telefónica Tech, where I am responsible for the Threat Intelligence and Offensive Security portfolio. I design, develop and position cybersecurity services with the aim of offering companies services that protect them and prepare them against the cyber threats that affect them and evolve at a rapid pace every day.

I work hand in hand with leading technologies in the sector and, most importantly, with incredible people who bring exceptional knowledge and commitment to the table. My day-to-day work is very dynamic because I interact with many different areas: operations, sales, pre-sales, marketing, legal, compliance… and we do this at an international level, working closely with teams in Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Latin America and other countries where we operate.

It is a role that requires strategic vision, coordination skills and a passion for understanding both technology and business.
