  • What are compliance, television on demand and internal corporate communication?

Unlike the previous article, in which we analysed issues related to technology, in this one we are going to learn about and delve deeper into tasks and professional profiles that are not strictly technological.

However, that does not mean that technology is not an ally in improving processes, assisting in certain tasks or optimising the day-to-day management of people who devote their working hours to topics that are as exciting as they are, in some cases, little known.

What is customer intelligence?

Customer intelligence is defined as the systematic collection, integration and analysis of data to better understand customer behaviour, needs and expectations.

This customer intelligence is based on different stages: data collection, integration, analysis, visualisation and interpretation, and the final phase: translating all this into concrete actions, known as actionable information.

Customer intelligence is a strategic success factor in which numerous technologies, such as AI, are playing an increasingly important role.

What is a programme manager?

Through structure, overview and responsiveness, the programme manager is dedicated to connecting people, ideas and long-term goals.

The roles of these professionals include designing a strategic roadmap, understanding the relationship between different projects, managing risks and enabling teams to work with a shared purpose.

What is television on demand or video on demand?

The question of what video on demand (or television on demand) is can be answered by saying that it is a service that allows access to and playback of audiovisual content without being subject to schedules or programming.

It is a service that radically changes audiovisual consumption, moving from channel surfing to an almost infinite exploration of catalogues…

Flexibility and personalisation have replaced the rigidity of linear programming and, with the advance of new technologies, the evolution that is taking place is increasingly pointing towards an even more personalised and immersive experience.

What is European regulation?

European regulation is defined as the harmonisation of the laws of the 27 countries that make up the EU.

It is a regulation marked by both its abundance and its technical depth and presents different legal acts, depending on the degree of mandatory compliance for all member states, in descending order of mandatory compliance: regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations and guidelines.

The impact on national regulations depends precisely on the type of rule we are talking about, having led to a profound transformation in the respective national laws of the countries that make up the European Union.

What is invoicing?

Billing is the process of issuing and recording invoices, which is crucial for businesses because of its impact on customer satisfaction.

Although there may be numerous criteria for classifying different types of invoices, there are two main categories: depending on whether they are manual or automatic and, on the other hand, according to format: paper or electronic, the arrival of which has brought about a profound transformation in commercial relations.

What is compliance?

Compliance refers to the function responsible for ensuring that activities or businesses are conducted in accordance with the various legal systems, regulations in force and policies or procedures that may have been established in different companies.

The role of compliance is twofold, operational and strategic, and seeks to protect brand value and reputation, reduce costs (by avoiding penalties), increase trust, facilitate entry into new markets and strengthen corporate culture.

What is internal corporate communication?

Internal corporate communication has a duty that goes beyond informing; it also involves connecting with people, reinforcing pride in belonging and highlighting value.

With synthesis, empathy, assertiveness and resilience as key professional skills, the premise is that, by knowing and listening to the audience to whom the communications are directed, the information conveyed should be both simple and useful.
