Paula Delgado Santos

She holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Kent and the Autonomous University of Madrid, specializing in artificial intelligence and biometric systems. She currently works as a research associate at Telefónica Innovación Digital in Madrid, where she is engaged in scientific research on signals and images, pattern recognition, machine learning, and federated learning, with a special focus on security, privacy, and data protection. She leads AI projects that seek to convert scientific knowledge into real, reliable, and people-friendly solutions.
