Movistar Renews Its Sponsorship of Valencia Basket for the Tenth Consecutive Year

Movistar and Valencia Basket will continue their journey together for another season. The company has renewed its sponsorship of the club for the tenth consecutive year, strengthening a partnership that reflects Telefónica’s commitment to Valencian sport, innovation, and the promotion of talent.

The renewal was officially announced this Tuesday at an event held at the Movistar Store in Valencia, bringing together representatives from both organizations.

Over the past ten years, the relationship between Movistar and Valencia Basket has grown into a collaboration that goes beyond traditional sponsorship. Since 2020, Movistar has also supported the club as its technology partner, providing its capabilities and solutions to support its digital transformation process.

Valencia Basket perfectly represents this ambition, and we are delighted to remain part of its journey,” said Jorge García, Telefónica’s Regional Director in the Valencian Community.

Helena Pueyo Takes Center Stage

The event also featured Helena Pueyo, the new player of Valencia Basket’s women’s first team, who was officially presented to fans and media representatives.

With this renewal, Movistar reaffirms its commitment to one of the leading sporting institutions in the Valencian Community and will continue supporting Valencia Basket and its fans throughout another season, sharing experiences and bringing innovation and technology closer to the club’s environment.
