Bas Hendrikx

Bas Hendrikx is the Head of Digital Cloud Networks at O2 Telefónica Germany. He leads the teams driving the DevOps and Cloud-Native transformation across the Mobile Data Core, Signaling, Fixed Engineering, and Voice interconnect domains, spearheading the company’s Autonomous Network journey.

A passionate change agent for the telecom industry, Bas played a pivotal role in Telefónica Germany’s transformation, including pioneering the deployment of its 5G Core and Cloud-Native Functions onto hyperscalers like AWS.

Building on earlier leadership roles at Telefónica and Vodafone (Cloud & Telco Cloud), Bas uniquely combines deep network engineering expertise with a product-driven mindset. He orchestrates large-scale transformation, champions DevOps ways of working, and is focused on driving 5G monetization through automation and network slicing.

Jesús Ángel Rojo Aranda

I am part of the IP Networks technology group. I have spent my entire professional career providing support for the various IP networks that Telefónica has developed throughout its history. From the now defunct Nuria Network at the former Telefónica Data, to its integration into RIMA and its conversion into the current Fusion Network. That experience led me to join Cedex IP, which for several years centralised support for the N3 networks of the various OBs in the Telefónica group. All this knowledge and a thorough reskilling in the world of programming has led me to develop, in recent years, tools for network monitoring, diagnosis and supervision. Restless by nature and with an insatiable desire to learn, I enjoy trying to make life easier for others and spending time with my family.
