Óscar Candiles Jiménez

Born in Madrid, Spain, in December 1973.
Óscar Candiles has become a member of the Group’s Executive Committee since October 2026, assuming the leadership of the B2C Spain Customer Unit, with responsibility for driving the development and commercialization of product & services for home ecosystem both nationally and internationally.
He joined the Telefónica Group in 1999 and has built his professional career across marketing and commercial functions in Spain and within global business units.
In 2011, he joined Telefónica de España as Sales Director for the Central Region. In 2012, he became B2C Marketing Director, playing a key role in the launch of our Fixed-Mobile convergent offer of “Fusión”, as well as in the expansion of fiber broadband and television services.
In 2018, he joined Telefónica España’s Management Committee as Director of Strategy, Wholesale & e-Verticals. In 2022, he assumed overall responsibility for the B2C business, and in 2025 he was appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Telefónica España.
He also serves as a Board Member of Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, Telefónica Consumer Finance S.A., Telefónica Renting S.A., Solar360 de Repsol y Movistar S.L., and Solar360 Soluciones de Instalación y Mantenimiento S.L.
Óscar Candiles holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia of Comillas (ICAI), a degree in Market Research from the Universidad Pontificia of Comillas (ICADE), and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
