Ernesto Gardelliano
Chief Strategy & Control Officer
Ernesto Gardelliano is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from IAE Business School (Universidad Austral, Argentina).
With nearly 30 years at the Group, Ernesto has built a solid international career across different units and countries. Throughout his professional journey, he has held key positions such as Chief Executive Officer of Movistar Argentina and Uruguay, Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica Latin America, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Telefónica Digital, and Director of Planning and Control at Telefónica S.A. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG.
In January 2026, he joins the Executive Committee as Director of Strategy and Control, a role that brings together strategic planning and operational oversight under a single responsibility.
