CR Reports

Telefónica publishes CR Reports in 17 countries and produces more than 300 indicators on its social impact. To ensure the accuracy and precision of the information, it is supported by external verification, following the GRI and AA1000AS standards, and LBG methodology.

The Report on Corporate Responsibility (CR), published annually by Telefónica S.A., is one of the Company's main tools for communication with its interest groups and forms a complete management system for this issue: for Telefónica, behind an indicator there is a number; behind a number there is a process; behind a process there is authentication; and behind the authentication there is a system of improvement.

In addition to the Company's Corporate Report, there are Reports in 16 countries (14 are published since the Central American markets share documentation) so that aspects that are more relevant at a local level are also shown.

In addition, both the Corporate version and those in certain countries (7 in the case of the 2007 Report) have executive print versions and expanded online versions.The information shown includes the subjects that are of most relevance to the interest groups, and the Company's strategy with regard to CR. The company takes into account the degree of fulfillment of its objectives and presents its challenges to achieving specific commitments for the next financial year.
