Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides countless opportunities for companies, becoming essential in decision making and automation of tasks and processes. Likewise, the growing dependence on AI systems poses strong challenges and risks in its implementation in companies.
Telefónica was a pioneer in the use of AI and Big data technologies, currently enhanced by the rise of generative AI, to provide better service to customers, generate new revenues and optimize operations and investments. Telefónica has shown a strong commitment to developing and using AI in a responsible and ethical manner from the very beginning.
In this session, we will be taking a tour of the main AI projects implemented in our company and analyze their impact. We will share the AI proposition we offer to our customers and display some projects. We will also discuss ethical governance and the importance of adopting ethical principles and criteria in the use of Artificial Intelligence.
