Session description
Major challenges require collective responses. For this reason, Telefónica and UNICEF are organizing this session to address one of today’s greatest challenges: children’s participation and protection in the digital environment, opening a conversation on the current context, key challenges, and opportunities for collaboration to move towards a safer digital space for children and adolescents.
The discussion will be supported by key data and conclusions from the recent report “Digital Childhood”, a pioneering global research project that involved the collaboration of 45 national and international experts, as well as the participation of families, teachers, and nearly 100,000 children and adolescents in Spain.
In addition, Telefónica will share some of the initiatives it is promoting across different regions to encourage the responsible, safe, and positive use of technology among children and adolescents.
