Session description

In this session, we will present two use cases of applied quantum computing carried out by Telefónica’s Center of Excellence in Quantum Computing in Bilbao in collaboration with clients:

• 3D BIN packaging for Würth: efficiency in logistics, in collaboration with our partners in Quantum Computing Tecnalia and QCentroid.

• Synthesis of tumor-inhibiting molecules with the Vithas Foundation and Francisco de Vitoria University.

Demo description

We will remotely access quantum computers to show the inner workings of these use cases:

• A Fujitsu Digital Annealer, located in a Telefónica data center in Bilbao.

• A DWave quantum annular Advantage 2, for the BIN Packing case.

• An IQM quantum computer, for the Molecule Synthesis case.
